You can change the high-level or trip item detail of your itinerary on your Android, iPhone, and iPad through the TripIt app.

Note:  Our iPhone v.2.5 and up, iPad v2.6 and up, and Android 1.7 and up apps feature add/edit/delete functionality.   Older versions of our Android, iPhone, and our BlackBerry apps are 'view only'. All adds, deletes, and edits need to be made from our main site (www.tripit.com).  Please see http://help.tripit.com/entries/87825

iPhone

1.  Click on the trip you wish to edit from the ‘Current (and/or) Upcoming Trips’ view.

2. Click on the arrow icon in the upper right to enter the edit area.

3. Hit ‘Edit Trip’.

4. If you are looking to edit a particular trip item (air, car, hotel, etc.) just click on the trip item in the full itinerary view and the edit option will appear in the upper right of the screen.

5. Delete: If you would like to delete your flight, maps, car rentals, or other trip items from your itinerary, on your itinerary page, all you need to do is swipe to the left or right and you will see a delete prompt.

iPad

1. Click on the trip you wish to edit from the ‘ Trips’ view.

2. The ‘Edit Trip’ option will appear.

3. If you are looking to edit a particular trip item (flight, hotel, etc.) click on the trip item in the itinerary and an ‘Edit Plan’ option will appear.

Android

1. Click on the trip you wish to edit.

2. Click on the menu button on your phone.

3. Click on 'Edit Trip'.
