Using Directions and Maps on the iPad app

Our iPad app offers enhanced directions and maps over what you see on our main site and other mobile apps. 

To use directions and maps on the iPad, first please make sure you have updated to at least TripIt app version 2.6 at the iTunes store. 

Then for directions:

• Sign in to your account
• Choose your trip by tapping on the trip title in the ‘Trips’ list (left side bar)
• Tap on the trip item (NY hotel in the below screenshot). 
• On your trip item view tap on the 'Map' tab at the top of the screen or the "i" (information) next to trip name.  You will then be offered the option to create directions to or from that trip item (item must contain an address).

• You will be offered the option to select a 'to' or 'from' address from your existing trip items or to enter a new address.

• A full map with directions will appear.
