With TripIt for Teams you can easily create trips and see plans for other TripIt users in one place.
In three easy steps you'll have automatic itineraries for all your travelers. Your travelers will get their detailed travel plans and you can access their plans any time through your company's private Travel Dashboard.
1. Click 'Your Travelers' (upper left after opening the Teams tab). Then enter the email addresses of the travelers for whom you want to create, edit, and email trips. They don't need to have an existing TripIt account (their account will be created during the traveler's onboarding).
2. Your travelers will get a TripIt email stating that you would like to be their travel planner. With one click, they'll confirm that you can email plans into their TripIt account.
3. Start forwarding confirmation emails from your email inbox to email@example.com with the traveler’s email address in the subject line. The plan will automatically go into the right person’s trip. For example, put firstname.lastname@example.org in the subject line and the plan will go into Nancy's TripIt account. Nancy will be able to access all her trips just by signing into TripIt at http://www.tripit.com or on her mobile device.
Once created and whenever you want, you can view upcoming and past trips for all your travelers on your dashboard. If a traveler is TripIt Pro, you'll also see flight alerts and status right on your dashboard.
Subject line: The TripIt Itinerator will only look at the first email address in the subject line and ignore all others.
Manually Add or Edit Itinerary Items: You can add or edit activities, meetings, notes, and other items directly to the itinerary from within any trip. Just click any +Add Plans link. You traveler will see any additions when they view the trip.
Share the Trip with Someone Else: To let someone besides the traveler view the itinerary (like a spouse or colleague) you can share the trip. From the dashboard, just click the envelope icon. Then enter the email addresses of the people you'd like to see the itinerary. See more details here: http://www.tripit.com/uhp/sharing.
Mobile Devices: To view their trip on their Android, iOS, Blackberry, or Windows device the traveler just needs to download our free TripIt app. See full instructions here: http://www.tripit.com/uhp/mobile.
Add Additional Travel Arrangers: If you are the purchaser of "TripIt for Teams" and want to add additional planner go to Company Settings, click Add a planer and enter the email address of the additional person. A welcome email will be sent to them. The arrangers can then request rights over their own travelers. Each arranger only sees their own travelers.
