If you have a company-issued BlackBerry (BES), your company might have restricted its usage.
Some companies have restricted what can be done with their company-issued phones, such as installing
applications or lower-level permissions. Access to the BlackBerry browser is a requirement for installation
1. Contact your company's technical support to determine if the restriction can be lifted.
2. We will be happy to answer any questions from your company’s technical support personnel concerning our
application. Just have them write to us at support@tripit.com.
If you see 'Access cannot be granted at this time', try this:
1. Go to http://m.tripit.com and sign in there, selecting the 'Keep me signed in button'.
2. Once you have signed in, you can then start the TripIt app and quickly grant authorization.
1.Set all permission settings to allow/permit:
2. If that doesn't work, you can try reinstalling the app:
The app could have chosen a network path that doesn’t work. Follow these steps to change your network settings:
1. Click the menu button on your BlackBerry.
2. Go to Settings >> Network Configuration Settings
3. You will see a pop-up screen that will allow you to change your network settings. Unfortunately there are far too
many different BlackBerry devices as well as a countless set of configuration settings for us to give you instructions
specific to your device, but here are some things to keep in mind as you change your settings on this screen:
4. In some cases, a 'soft reset' of your blackberry will help with network issues. Take the batteries out, wait a few seconds, reinstall them.
Phones with RIM operating systems older than 4.3 and older models like the 71xx, 72xx, 81xx, 83xx, and 87xx series may not work.
1. If you have an older operating system, contact your carrier’s technical support or your company's IT administrators to determine
if your phone's operating system can be upgraded.
2. If you have an older phone, particularly a phone without a menu key or trackwheel, it is unlikely that your phone will be compatible
with our application.
