A layover is the time between two connecting flights.
The airline industry standard rule for determining a connection time to display is less than four hours for domestic flights and less than 24 hours for international flights (from one country/region to another). Anything longer is considered a stopover and will not display the layover time in TripIt.
Please note:
- Currently, there is not an option to manually add or edit the layover field.
- Currently on the Web, a layover will only display for flights with the same confirmation number.
