TripIt now shows you the latest COVID-19 travel guidelines to help you stay as informed as possible for the destinations you are visiting.
Once a trip is added to your TripIt account, stay up-to-date on how COVID-19 may impact your travel plans. This data comes from our partner Riskline® and is based on the location of plans in your trip, such as airports, hotels, restaurants, and activities. This feature is available on our latest Android and iOS mobile apps and Mac app. It is currently not available on our website.
For destinations you are visiting, TripIt will show you COVID-19 related:
- Key information including current infection rates, hotspots, and any quarantine or testing requirements for travelers entering the area.
- Requirements and Restrictions currently in place, including mask requirements, curfew orders, and restrictions on dining and shopping.
- Travel guidelines issued for your destination, such as health documentation requirements, entry and exit rules, travel bans, and more.
How to get started
- Open the TripIt app and select a trip (only available for active trip destinations).
- Tap the guidebook button (bottom right).
- Select COVID-19 travel guidance.
How COVID-19 infection levels are measured

What areas are covered
COVID-19 travel guidance is available for more than 200 countries and territories.
How often this information is updated
We receive frequent and regular updates from our data provider, Riskline. If we are unable to provide the most up to date data, please refer to local government websites for travel and health policies.

Some countries have data available by specific regions. These countries include:
- Australia: available by state
- Canada: available by province
- United States: available by state
