Add a new trip using the mobile app

You can create a trip for any travel type by forwarding your vendor confirmation or by manually entering your travel information (or on our website).

Forward your plans:

Forward a travel confirmation email to You can forward a travel confirmation from any email address in your account. That's it! We'll do the rest!  

Create your trip manually:

If you don't have a confirmation email or if your submission to failed, you can add your itinerary manually to your TripIt account. 

  1. On the Trips page, tap (+) located at the bottom right of the page.
  2. Enter your high level trip details than tap Save.
  3. Add a plan by tapping Add Plans or the floating action button located at the bottom right of the trip and selecting Add a Plan.
  4. Select the type of plan you want to add and we'll walk you through the rest.
