Updates:
Android app update: The TripIt Travel Planner app v13.8.3 for Android was released. We fixed a pesky bug where images in portrait orientation got turned sideways. Now you can upload photos to Documents or to distinguish your trip and see them right-side up. Please update your Android devices!
- iOS app update: The TripIt Travel Planner app v19.0.1 for iOS was released. Adding another driver to your car rental? Keeping track of who is dining with you at the restaurant for your expense report? Now you can include attendees as part of the plan in TripIt.• Long-press the name of your hotel, restaurant, or other travel plan to copy it for pasting elsewhere, such as a message or email. You can also do the same with the confirmation number. We fixed several bugs with Travel Documents and gave it a refresh. Add your passport or driver license for quick reference while on-the-go. Please update your iOS devices!
- Traveler Resource Center: The Traveler Resource Center has officially gone live on the TripIt website! The Traveler Resource Center makes it easy for travelers to find the latest global travel advisories, guidelines and restrictions, alongside other helpful resources.
- Alternate flights in new web experience: Pro users can now access Alternate Flights from our new web experience. Our help page has instructions.
Notices:
- TripIt Blog: Keep up-to-date by following the TripIt blog.
- Passwords: Account passwords now require a minimum of eight characters.
- Point Tracker: TripIt Pro's Point Tracker now supports more than 150 reward programs offering you the opportunity to organize your reward programs and track all your points and miles in one place. Visit our Point Tracker page for a complete list of supported programs, including airline, hotel, car, train, credit cards, and more.
- Support: The TripIt Support team is available to answer tickets Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
Bugs:
- Android app: Crashing bug has been resolved in 13.8.3. If you haven't already, please update your device.
- Inbox Sync: There is an issue with setting up Inbox Sync for Hotmail email addresses on the TripIt iOS app. Until this is resolved, you can set up Inbox Sync from our website. Our help page has instructions.
- Point Tracker: United Airlines is not updating properly in Point Tracker. In the meantime, you can track your United Airlines program in Point Tracker by forwarding your reward summary emails to points@tripit.com. We are working to resolve this issue and will update this page when it is fixed.
