Our latest updates, notices, and major bugs.


Updates:

  • Android app update: The TripIt Travel Planner app v14.3.2 for Android was released. Travel Guidance now includes safety information for the country you’re visiting, in addition to visa and vaccination requirements. An overall safety rating factors in political stability, threat of terrorism, crime, public health, and environmental conditions. (TripIt Pro) We fixed a bug where PDF file attachments for train bookings were not available offline. We continue to make enhancements to keyboard navigation for improved accessibility. Please update your Android devices!

  • iOS app update: The TripIt Travel Planner app v19.5 for iOS was released. Travel Guidance now includes safety information for the country you’re visiting, in addition to visa and vaccination requirements. An overall safety rating factors in political stability, threat of terrorism, crime, public health, and environmental conditions. (TripIt Pro) The TripIt app for Apple Watch now runs smoother and changes to your trip are reflected quicker. We continue to make enhancements to voiceover and field focus for improved accessibility. Please update your iOS devices!
  • Mac app update: The TripIt Travel Planner app v19.5 for Mac was released. We reintroduced the TripIt app for macOS. Download it from the Mac App Store and give it a try. (Apple Silicon chip required).
  • Inbox Sync for Google accounts: If Inbox Sync was disabled on your account, you'll need to reactivate. Our help page has instructions.


Notices:

  • TripIt Blog: Keep up-to-date by following the TripIt blog.
  • Passwords: Account passwords now require a minimum of eight characters.
  • Point Tracker: TripIt Pro's Point Tracker now supports more than 150 reward programs offering you the opportunity to organize your reward programs and track all your points and miles in one place. Visit our Point Tracker page for a complete list of supported programs, including airline, hotel, car, train, credit cards, and more.
  • Support: The TripIt Support team is available to answer tickets Monday-Friday.


Bugs:

  • Inbox Sync and Yahoo Mail: Following a recent update made by Yahoo, some users who previously had Inbox Sync activated may find that the connection has been lost and cannot be reestablished at this time. Our team is actively working on a solution to restore compatibility as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you have travel plans that need to be imported immediately, you can forward your booking confirmations to plans@tripit.com or manually create the itinerary using the TripIt website or app.
  • Point Tracker: United Airlines is not updating properly in Point Tracker. In the meantime, you can track your United Airlines program in Point Tracker by forwarding your reward summary emails to points@tripit.com. We are working to resolve this issue and will update this page when it is fixed.
