TripIt mobile calendar

You can view your TripIt travel plans directly in your Apple or Google calendar on your mobile device.


How to add to your Apple Calendar:

  1. Open the TripIt app.
  2. Tap the 'Account' tab (bottom right).
  3. Tap 'Settings'.
  4. Tap in the 'Calendar Feed' field.
  5. Tap 'Add TripIt to your Apple Calendar'.


How to add to your Google Calendar:


Please note, there are currently two steps as Google now requires non-Google accounts to be manually enabled.


First step:

  1. Open the TripIt app.
  2. Tap the 'Account' tab (bottom right).
  3. Tap 'Settings'.
  4. In the 'Calendar Sync' section, tap your name.
  5. Make sure the 'Enable Calendar Feed' and 'Subscribe' toggle are both turned on.

Second step:

  1. Open the Google Calendar app.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right).
  3. Select your TripIt calendar feed.
  4. Tap 'Manage Accounts'.
  5. Make sure the TripIt account toggle is turned on.

How to remove from Apple Calendar:

  1. Tap the Apple Calendar.
  2. Tap 'Calendars' (bottom of screen).
  3. Tap the information icon next to your TripIt calendar.
  4. Tap 'Unsubscribe'.


How to remove from Google Calendar:

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. In the top right, click 'Settings'.
  3. In the left column, click your TripIt calendar.
  4. Click 'Unsubscribe'.


Calendar Setting options:

  • Choose whether your calendar feed displays just the trip title or all detailed plans.
  • Choose whether your time zone is automatically adjusted (Recommended for Google calendar).
  • Share your calendar feed URL with others.
  • Reset your calendar feed URL (Recommended if new plans are no longer syncing to your calendar).
