How to get started:

You can add documents to the Details screen for your flight, lodging, car rental, activity, and other trip items. Only travelers and planners can add, view and edit documents.

In the TripIt app:

  1. First you'll need to add the plan to your trip.
  2. Then, tap the plan you want associated with the document.
  3. From here, just tap the plus (+) button to attach a document to your plan. Once uploaded, you’ll see a preview thumbnail of your file.
  4. To view a document that you uploaded, just tap on the preview thumbnail of the file. Should you want to rename or delete the file, you can do so from this view.

In the TripIt website

  1. First, you'll need to add the plan to your trip.
  2. Then, click the 'Actions' button located to the right of the plan.
  3. Select 'View Plan Details'.
  4. Click the plus (+) button next to 'Documents', attach your document then 'Upload'.

Maximum file size

You may upload files up to 10mb.

Examples of use:

To rename or delete a document that you uploaded, just tap on the preview thumbnail of the file to open it. Then tap on the ellipses (…) in the top right corner, and you’ll see the options to rename or delete the file.
