Travel Documents

Store key travel document information in your TripIt account.

Keep your travel document information in one place so it's easily accessible while traveling. This feature is available in the TripIt app.

Add a travel document

1. Tap Account (bottom right).
2. Tap Travel Documents.
3. Tap (+) button to add a new document.

Edit or delete a travel document

Android

1. Long press the travel document.
2. Edit or delete the travel document.

iOS

1. Tap the 3 dots (right of travel document)
2. Edit or delete the travel document.

Travel Document options include Passport, Driver License, US Permanent Resident Card, Global Entry, US Military ID, US Re-entry Permit, NEXUS, TSA Pre, CLEAR, and SENTRI.  There is also a generic template (Other) to place additional document information.

iOS users: Instantly add a Travel Document by scanning it with your camera 

You can easily add a passport, US-state driver license, US State ID or US Re-Entry permit to Travel Documents by scanning it with your camera. When adding to Travel Documents, simply choose the "Capture with Camera" option.

TripIt Pro members can receive reminders before their passport expires. Please view our help page for more information.

Who else can view your travel document information?

No one else can see your Travel Document information including your Inner Circle (Pro feature). Even if you have shared your trip with someone on TripIt, they do not have access to this information. 

Please note: First time access or apps that have been signed out since last accessing will require a PIN, Face recognition (Android) or Face ID (iOS). Please see our help page for additional information. We recommend never storing financial data and passwords.
