Alternate Flights

TripIt Pro helps you find alternate flights if your current flight is delayed or canceled.

Alternate Flights instantly finds you different flight options if your current flight has been delayed, canceled, or you’d just like to leave on another flight. If you find a flight which works for you, contact the airline or your travel vendor directly to make the update.

TripIt app: 

From an upcoming trip.

1. Tap the flight.
2. Tap Alternate Flights.
3. From here, you can search for alternative flights. 

From the Pro tab

1. Tap Alternate Flights.
2. Choose your flight.
3. From here, you can search for alternative flights.

TripIt website:

1. Open an upcoming trip.
2. Click the Actions button (right of flight).
3. Select View Plan Details.
4. Click "Find alternate flights with open seats".
5. From here, you can search for alternative flights.

You can also customize the search function to search for alternate flights from different departure/arrival airports and/or within different dates and times. If you find a flight which works for you, contact the airline directly to make the update.
