Alternate Flights

TripIt Pro helps you find alternate flights if your current flight is delayed or canceled.

Alternate Flights instantly finds you different flight options if your current flight has been delayed, canceled, or you’d just like to leave on another flight.

How it works: 

From our Android and iOS apps: 

1. Open an upcoming trip
2. Tap on the flight, then tap Alternate Flights located under TripIt Pro. 
3. Then you can search for alternative flights. Or you can select Alternate Flights from the Pro tab.

From our website:

1. Open an upcoming trip and click the Alternate Flights link under your flight. 
2. From here, you can search for alternate flights on the same airline or all airlines. 

You can also customize the search function to search for alternate flights from different departure/arrival airports and/or within different dates and times. If you find a flight which works for you, contact the airline directly to make the update.

Please note, Pro features such as Alternate Flights are not yet offered in the new web experience, but will still be available as usual on the TripIt mobile app or by switching back to the Legacy site. You can switch back by clicking the ‘New website’ toggle in the upper right-hand corner of any page. We plan to keep adding to the new web experience, so you’ll see regular updates over time.  Alternate Flights is only available on our mobile apps for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) accounts at this time.
