Update trip share permissions

When you share your trip with someone, you can update their permission at anytime.

Let's say you've shared your trip with someone and gave them permission to edit your trip, if you've changed your mind, you can update their permission or remove them altogether at any time.

Here's how:

TripIt website:

1. Select the trip from the Trips page.
2. Click "Manage Sharing".
3. Under the invitee's name, you can update their permission or remove them.

TripIt app:

1. Select the trip
2. Tap the invitee's name located at the bottom of the trip.
3. Tap their name again then select their new permission. 
4. You can also remove someone from your trip in the same section.

If you are the trip owner and want to update your status from traveler to non-traveler (or vice versa):

1. Click "Edit trip info" (located below the trip title)
2. Check (or uncheck) the "I am a traveler on this trip" box. 
3. Click "Save".
