We've partnered with AirHelp to assist you in claiming compensation for lengthy delays or cancellations that happen on eligible flights to/from/within the European Union (EU) and Brazil.

What is AirHelp?

AirHelp specializes in helping air passengers claim compensation for delayed, canceled, and overbooked flights. With more than 16 million travelers helped, AirHelp has the resources and expertise to handle the complex claim process. For more information, visit AirHelp.

How does it work?

TripIt will email you if your flight may be eligible for compensation and help you file a claim through AirHelp. Once your claim is filed, AirHelp does the rest of the hard work for you, including the paperwork and communication with the airlines—helping you claim compensation for your inconvenience. All this is possible because of air passenger rights regulations that protect passengers against lengthy delays and other travel disruptions.

What flights are eligible for compensation?

You can check to see which flights are eligible here.

Will it cost me anything?

No, AirHelp will only deduct a service fee from your total compensation amount if your claim is successful. If AirHelp is unable to assist you in receiving compensation, you aren't charged anything

How long can the process take?

AirHelp processes the claim but it’s up to the airline to accept and and pay out the compensation. The turnaround can be quick or can take awhile, it really depends on the airline.
