Travel arrangers

TripIt can help you organize travel plans for your travelers.

Our travel arranger feature is meant to support arrangers/managers assisting a small number or group of travelers.  It is not designed to support travel agencies, TMCS, large corporate travel bookings or to share/monitor trips for large numbers of people from a single account.  If you are an SAP Concur user, please check out our SAP Concur: Travel Arrangers page.

Here's how:

First step:

• Travel planner and traveler each create their own TripIt account.
• If managing multiple travelers, the travel planner can turn off the feature to 'Put newly imported plans into trips.

• Travel planner manually creates a new trip 'shell' by entering the 'destination city' and travel dates.
• After the trip is created, the travel planner can uncheck the 'I am a traveler on this trip' box.
• Travel planner forwards all of their traveler's confirmation emails to [email protected]. The travel plans should import into the 'trip shell' as long as the dates match.
• If managing multiple travelers, travel arranger moves travel plans from Unfiled Items folder into the trip shell.
• Travel planner customizes the TripIt itinerary as necessary, adding driving directions, client meetings, restaurant reservations, etc.

• Travel planner shares trip with their traveler's TripIt account.
